AMORPHIS – qui fait partie des groupes de dark metal les plus importants d’Europe du Nord, ayant atteint cinq fois la première place des charts finlandais – captive les fans et les critiques depuis plus de 30 ans avec ses paysages sonores à la fois mélancoliques et lourds. Après avoir annoncé le mois dernier la sortie de leur quatorzième album studio, « Halo », qui sortira le 11 février 2022 sur Atomic Fire, l’attente est terminée puisque le sextet présente au monde le premier single du disque. Une fois encore orné d’un artwork fourni par Valnoir (ALCEST, PARADISE LOST etc.), « Halo » a été enregistré, produit et mixé par Jens Bogren (Fascination Street Studios) tandis que les tâches de mastering ont été assurées par Tony Lindgren.
